I don't usually get "sick"...
A fluish thing here and there when I’m run down but it lasts no more than 24-48 hours.  I’m now headed into Day 6 of a wicked sore throat & piercing in my ears.  I can’t stand this feeling. I can’t sleep.  Please let this be over soon.
