Forgive me if I seem overly excited about what’s happening in California regarding Prop 8. I have an amazingly wonderful cousin and her amazingly beautiful partner that are some of my closest family.  Prop 8 being found unconstitutional not only brings me joy for all gay couples, knowing that we are indeed making progress, but it hits close to home. I can not wait until these two magnificent, kind, loving women say “I do” on their wedding day, surrounded by love, acceptance & equality.
