I’m incredibly exhausted of hearing the term “real women”…

when talking about a women’s dress size, weight, curves, body image, etc.  Everyone wants to blast that “real women” have curves & no one is under a size 4 without starving themselves. Well guess what? No matter the size of a woman, they are every bit of a real woman as the gal next to them.  I have a handful of friends, family & co-workers who naturally don’t weigh over 115 lbs or who’s bra size is less than an A cup or who genetically have pencil stick thighs.  And actually, sometimes this is hard on them because they have rude & unkind comments blasted at them daily about not eating, about being unhealthy, etc. I am so tired of this whole crusade that big curvy women are the only ”real” ones.

Fuck off.  We are all real.  We are all fighting our own battles. We are who we believe ourselves to be. We have the choice, every single day, to choose to be healthy. And maybe one persons idea of healthy is different from the next.  So what?  So when people want to start throwing around that it’s what’s inside that matters, then all women need to be addressed. And for god’s sake, why do people care?  Stop with the judgements, jealousy & hatred.  Be in love with yourself, worry about your own health & take pride in who you are.
