"Dogs are the best, especially when you’ve had a really bad day. You could make the biggest mistakes all day long at work and the rest of the world could hate you but then you go home and your dog is there waiting like “OH THANK GOD MY HERO IS HOME I LOVE YOU SO MUCH WERE YOU OUT GETTING ALL THE AWARDS FOR BEING THE MOST PERFECT HUMAN BEING TO EVER HAVE EXISTED?"

Yes, yes & yes.  Best feeling in the world!

Fly me away: Pilots, volunteers unite to rescue animals

Pilots N Paws has transported thousands of rescue animals, often flying them hundreds of miles from where they were found so they can find forever homes.

I want to volunteer for this company!

Dog attends Mass daily where owner’s funeral was held

Each day when the bells ring to mark the start of services, this German shepherd makes his way inside an Italian church — just as he did when his master was alive.

Melt my heart, this right here is why I adore dogs!

Compassionate 12 year old boy, Jack McPadden, would like nothing more than to see his neighbor’s near blind dog, Brody, someday cured of a disease that threatens his eyesight.
Determined to help, Jack recently appealed to his schoolmates and raised $211.05 toward anticipated veterinary bills, coupled with an additional $100 from his own family and that is just a start, he says.
Jack will be thrilled when Brody can see again, but he will never actually see it himself. That is because ever since he was 9 months old, Jack himself has been totally blind.

No matter how ugly the world can get, there’s still good out there.  And a lot of love.

Oh my god, there are no words for that face!  She totally reminds me of my childhood dog, Nicki, that we picked up at the Humane Society for like $25 back then.  A mutt on all accounts, 3 months old, a ball full of fur & sweet as could be. She was the best dog a girl could hope for & lived till she was 17.
Have fun with Zoey! :)

Or assholes.  This woman parks near me today at Target & has a beautiful collie in her van.  I’m thinking she’s running in while leaving one of the kids with this gorgeous dog with the air conditioning on… but NO, she continues to head into the store with the windows open only two inches or so.  It was 82 degrees at the time.  Did you know that the inside of the car, can get to over 125 degrees in mere minutes on a day like today?  And this can cause heat stroke.

I almost broke the window, stole her dog & left a note that she doesn’t deserve to own a pet.  Instead I waited until she came out because if she went past 10-12 minutes I was calling the police.  She’s lucky I didn’t.  Because I would have smacked the bitch upside the head & most likely been arrested for disorderly conduct or assault.

Fucking. Selfish. Moron.
